I switched from Bloglines to Google Reader about four or five months ago and I’m happy that I did. It’s an excellent way to manage RSS subscriptions and has made me infinitely more productive. Flipping through my feed trends the other day however got me thinking that of the 300 or so feeds that I am subscribed to, I only really read about 100-120 reguarly. What I would like to see from Google Reader is the ability to put a feed into a “dead-pool” of sorts. I subscribe willy-nilly to posts and I’d like to be able to dump them quickly or place them in a seperate folder quickly for review later if they don’t meet my high standards. The problem now is I never seem to remember to delete them. Just a random thought - maybe some RSS feed maintenance is in order.
