Triple Top Secret to Loads of Stumbleupon Traffic

August 22nd, 2007 · No Comments

Stumbleupon is an excellent little tool for driving traffic to your website (but not terribly high converting traffic).

There’s no real trick per say to scoring loads of Stumbleupon numbers other than joining groups, developing friendships and the following - my triple top secret to loads of Stumbleupon traffic: participate by voting, commenting, and submitting reviews, etc.

The more you “like” the pages they serve you the more visitors you will receive. I regularly spend about fifteen to twenty minutes each morning going through Stumbleupon while checking email and twittering and I end up running through about fifty to seventy-five sites at a time. Of those, I routinely click the “I like it” button about 25% of the time and give sites the old thumbs down less than 5% of the time.

I know that a graph would come in handy here to prove this theory (that the more you vote in the positive the more traffic you will receive), but who has time for that? Maybe you?
